48. . DB. Delaware. Nasir Adderley. 101. player

Tampa Bay goes with back-to-back defensive backs here as it tries to solve its issues in the secondary.

A crush of “Draft Twitter,” Nasir Adderley may be one of the top FCS prospects in the Draft. Adderley spent time as both a cornerback and safety with Fightin’ Blue Hens.

There may be questions about the level of competition Adderley played against, but he stands out on tape. He is so much better than everyone else that you cannot help but to look his way.

Although he has begun to rise Draft boards, NFL front offices have a history of passing up on talented defensive backs. Take Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Desmond King for example. He is one of their best defensive players, and the Bolts grabbed him in the fifth round.

Even the Bucs’ safety Jordan Whitehead can be in that category. He was the team’s fourth-round pick last season and may have had the best rookie season out of the entire class.

Adderley could be the hidden gem of the 2019 class, and the Buccaneers should jump at the opportunity if he is on the board.
