Safety

S Nasir Adderley – Delaware

One of the best defensive backs available, Nasir Adderley shined for the Blue Hens. Although he played at Delaware, Adderley is a big-time prospect. He may be a first-round talent. Much has been said about Alabama’s Deionte Thompson, but Adderley may take the crown as the top safety.

The Buccaneers need to find a viable safety to play alongside Justin Evans. Fourth-round pick Jordan Whitehead performed well in his first season, but having three safeties is a must in today’s NFL.

Tampa Bay needs to find all of the defensive back talent that they can to try and fix what has been a mess of a secondary for far too long.

Adderley provides versatility. He has a history as a cornerback. He can handle himself in the slot against both receivers and tight ends. With some refinement, Adderley can be a weapon for new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
