With free agency looming, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could target some underrated players to help fill holes on both sides of the football.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t have much cap space to work with in 2019. General manager Jason Licht will have to get creative if he wants to address all of the issues that litter the team’s roster.

One way to fix the roster will be targeting free agents who may not have the star power on the national scale. Players that have quietly contributed to their teams, but are flying under the radar.

While these players may be a gamble, they won’t hamstring the Buccaneers financially. Instead of signing one player to a massive deal, Licht could fill multiple holes for the same amount with some of these names.

Although Tampa Bay appears to be set for an improvement under Bruce Arians, their roster needs plenty of work. On offense, they could be down a pair of receivers. Arians wants DeSean Jackson back, but his contract will make it tough to keep him around. Slot receiver Adam Humphries will also hit free agency in a couple of months.

On defense, Tampa Bay needs to add depth in the front seven, and a veteran to lead the secondary.

Here are five underrated players the Buccaneers should target to make the most out of their limited cap room.
