Buccaneers 7-round Mock Draft Championship Sunday Edition
By Ryan Doyle
From a first-round lock to a question mark on Day 2, Bryce Love may be a talent too good for the Bucs to pass up. After a mediocre senior season, Love’s Draft stock plummetted. He ran for just 739 yards, with 12 total touchdowns.
In Love’s defense, Stanford’s offensive line dealt with injuries and opposing defenses stacked the box to try and slow the All-American down.
After an extremely disappointing rookie season, Ronald Jones cannot be trusted to turn Tampa’s rushing attack around. He ran for just 44 yards in his first season, leaving Peyton Barber to carry the load.
With Barber running the show, Tampa Bay had a bottom-five rushing offense. Unable to keep defenses on their toes, Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick would turn the ball over at will.
If the Bucs are confident that Love can bounce back from the ACL tear he suffered this past season, he could be an absolute steal here.
