EDGE Markus Golden (Arizona Cardinals)

After having a career season in 2016 racking up 12.5 sacks, Markus Golden suffered an ACL tear which shut him down for most of the following season. He returned to action in 2018 but was mostly ineffective.

Golden was another player who failed to contribute under head coach Steve Wilks. But with a history of success under Arians, he could be a bargain option in free agency. Tampa Bay needs help in the pass rush department and adding Golden to the mix could provide competition at defensive end.

Noah Spence barely saw the field last season, and his future with the Bucs is in doubt. Unless he has a notable turnaround next season, Tampa Bay could continue to have problems rushing the passer.

Golden won’t have the ceiling of a top-five Draft pick or a pricey free agent, but he could be someone that could have a renaissance in Tampa Bay.
