Nick Folk

Long-time NFL kicker Nick Folk is now currently the kicker for the Arizona Hotshots and teammates with Moore. Folk played 11 seasons in the NFL from 2007-17 for the Cowboys, Jets, and one season in Tampa Bay. With the shortage and revolving door of NFL kickers, Folk could see another opportunity as next year.

In 2017 with the Buccaneers, Folk recorded six field goals made, but was placed on injured reserve by the team after four games, posting only a 54% conversion rate on his kicks. Before coming to Tampa Bay, Folk made 245 field goals at an 80% clip in three seasons with the Cowboys, and seven seasons with the Jets. After the end of the 2017 season, Folk was released by the Bucs and did not receive another contract from an NFL team.

Just two weeks ago, Folk signed with the Arizona Hotshots after attending a tryout with the Chicago Bears and leaving without a contract. Last week with the Hotshots, Folk made two of three field goals, and a long from 53 yards. As previously mentioned, Folk and the Hotshots of Arizona play at 8pm tomorrow night against Christian Hackenberg and the Memphis Express. Folk hopes to bang every kick through the uprights this week in order to play himself into another NFL contract.
