Devin White

While Jameis Winston certainly believes that Kwon Alexander will return to Tampa Bay this offseason, uncertainty remains for the rest of us. With that being said, the Buccaneers must prep for a future without the 24-year-old linebacker coming off of a torn ACL. The obvious prospect to keep an eye on at the linebacking position is Devin White out of Louisiana State.

The Butkus Award winner, White enters the draft as the top rated linebacker and a top-ten prospect on most big boards. While White is raw in some technical areas of his game, Todd Bowles would love the opportunity to mold the young man who has athleticism to spare. Expect White to thrive on the field in Indianapolis and do not be shocked to see him run a 40 yard dash in the 4.5s or below.

Other linebackers to keep an eye on are Devin Bush, a player that could be targeted if the Bucs trade back into the late teens or early 20s of the first round, and late round sleepers T.J. Edwards from Wisconsin and Khalil Hodge from Buffalo. With the pending need at the linebacking position, White should definitely be a prospect that demands your attention this weekend.
