Greg Dortch

One word can describe Greg Dortch’s career at Wake Forrest, and that word is productive. Last season he had five games of nine or more catches, as well as four games of over 100 yards receiving. Dortch ended the season with 1,078 yards on a whopping 89 receptions, proving to be a headache on both offense and special teams. He managed to take two punts to the end zone last season and averaged 11 yards per return; one of the most dangerous weapons in this year’s draft class.

Dortch is undersized and has been getting overlooked by the majority of NFL draft experts coming into the pre-draft process, he looks to turn heads today at the combine. Players like Tyler Lockett and Taylor Gabriel have shown that small receivers can have a significant impact.

He leaves Wake with the second most yards receiving in a season in school history, and also broke the receiving touchdowns in a game mark twice with four touchdowns. This level of production cannot go overlooked for long, and Dortch hopes to make a name for himself today in Indianapolis. Dortch could be a late round steal to add to the already high-powered Tampa Bay offense.
