Olamide Zaccheaus

Olamide Zaccheaus did it all for the Virginia Cavaliers. Catching passes, taking handoffs, and making plays from all over the field. Zaccheaus broke the school reception record as a junior with 85 catches, proceeding to break his own record again as a senior in 2018 with 93 catches. He also was able to average nearly 10 yards per touch of the football this past season; an electric playmaker bound to go fairly unrecognized.

A high school running back, Zaccheaus showcased that in the open field, with his vision and ability to avoid defenders, he can be a weapon at the next level in the NFL. He finished his career with the Cavaliers tallying over 3,200 total yards and 24 touchdowns, playing both in the backfield and as a receiver. He looks to put his name on the map during his pro day and faces an uphill battle as he did not receive an invite to the Combine this weekend.

With the evident departure of both Humphries and DeSean Jackson, it would be wise for the Bucs to invest in a playmaker that can stretch the field and get open across the face of the linebackers. Olamide has proved time and time again that he is that valuable asset, and the Bucs should not have to use much more than a late round pick to snag him.
