Nyqwan Murray

Nyqwan Murray could be an interesting late round guy for the Bucs or as a UDFA, showing flashes of being a great reviver at times for the Florida State Seminoles. Murray also showed why teams might have to be cautious with him after being suspended for a part of the Syracuse game, and carrying some baggage into the pre-draft process. The FSU offense was almost non-existent in its first year under Willie Taggart and under upper-classman Deondre Francios.

The lack of success in the Florida State offense resulted in a down year for what many thought could have been a great one for Murray. He was still able to record his best year as a Nole statistically, putting up 744 yards receiving for three touchdowns on 54 receptions. Murray finished his career with the Noles with nearly 2,000 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns.

Murray could help slide into the slot and like several other of the players I mentioned could contribute on special teams. Murray measured in at 5’10 and 191 pounds at the combine, but only bench pressed eight reps. He hopes to improve his stock by blazing the 40 yard dash and knock the on-field drills out of the park.
