Tampa Bay Buccaneers: weekly 7-round mock draft after Combine
By Cory Kinnan
The 2019 NFL Combine is officially over with, and it is time for our weekly 7-round mock draft for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the pre-draft continues.
The fourth edition of The Pewter Plank’s weekly mock draft comes after the combine, some prospects are on the rise, and others are on a free fall. in this week’s edition of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 7-round mock draft, we are changing things up a bit as this is a joint effort brought to you by The Pewter Plank team. For each selection, there are four picks; one pick made by Cory (@realcorykinnan), one by Dylan (@dgrimm1216), one by Jason (@Bucgator83), and one by Jamil (@jamilking96).
Tampa Bay has six picks in the draft, with no sixth rounder, to add a healthy infusion of youth and talent to their roster loaded with aging veterans such as Demar Dotson, DeSean Jackson, and Gerald McCoy. For a team that believes that their championship window is still wide open and in the last year of Jameis Winston’s rookie contract, it would behoove the Bucs to add players that can com in and contribute right away.
With team needs for the Buccaneers still remaining along the offensive line, secondary, linebacking core, and slot receiver, your friends at The Pewter Plank try to give a comprehensive net to cast of potential targets to bring to Tampa Bay via the draft. With a low amount of spending capital with a slim $17 million in cap space heading into the offseason, the Buccaneers will need to nail every pick.
