Cory: Germaine Pratt, LB, North Carolina State

In the past week, Bucs fans have found out that Kwon Alexander will hit the open market as Jason Licht could not reach an agreeable price for his services, and that Kendell Beckwith may not ever be able to return from an ankle injury caused by a car accident last year. With that being said, there is a massive need at linebacker, and unfortunately it is a weak class of backers in the draft. Germaine Pratt would be an excellent value pick in the fourth round and has the ability to start right away.

Dylan: Damien Harris, RB, Alabama

Although Harris was the starter at Bama the talk of the draft is focused on his backup Josh Jacobs. Jacobs although the prototypical running back prospect was the backup and for good reason, Harris is a great starter. Harris runs very aggressive and loves to create contact to get the yards he needs. Harris has shown the ability to be a reliable pass catcher out of the backfield as well as a decent pass protector. Ronald Jones will get another chance to become the lead back but lacks great receiving ability. Harris will be a good compliment to Jones and will push him for the starting role.

Jason: K.J. Costello, QB, Stanford

K.J. Costello played in a pro-style offense at Stanford and has all the tools with a bit of mobility as well. While Costello would sit behind Winston in the final year of his rookie contract, the Buccaneers need a back-up quarterback with Ryan Fitzpatrick hitting the open market. Costello would make a great back up for next season and gain important experience as well.

Jamil: Miles Sanders, RB, Penn State

The Buccaneers’ run game has been an up and down adventure for the past several seasons. After drafting Jones III last year, the Bucs don’t need to make this pick, but after an underwhelming rushing attack last season it would not be shocked to see this selection. Sanders had a good day at the combine which could put him out of reach at this pick, but if he’s there, Jason Licht could pull the trigger.
