Yesterday we took a look at potential Miami Hurricanes. Today we examine potential Florida Gators that could be on the boards of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In the second part of this three-part series, we take a look at the in-state prospects that could be a fit for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the University of Florida. While the Gators did not have a ton of success under former head coach Jim McElwain, the team that was once an SEC powerhouse showed massive strides under Dan Mullen.

After the combine in Indianapolis this weekend, some prospects hurt their draft stock, while others saw their names shoot up big boards. Seeking to join the elite company of Emmitt Smith, Joe Haden, and the Pouncey twins, NFL Draft hopefuls have to wait another month and a half before the event is upon us. The players must take advantage of the pre-draft process and look to make a name for themselves.

With only six picks in the upcoming draft, the Buccaneers do not have a ton of ammunition to make a splash in this year’s draft, but with wise drafting and the possibility of adding more picks by trading out of the fifth overall pick, Jason Licht and his team could come away with a nice haul of young talent; here are three Gators that could be on the board for the Bucs.
