After the first week of free agency, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ draft board looks a bit different. Here is our weekly 7-round mock draft, featuring a trade!

Another week, another mock draft brought to you by The Pewter Plank. We have a twist in this week’s edition as WE HAVE A TRADE! While a trade has not happened yet outside of the imagination of this mock draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers do find themselves in a great spot to trade back and commit highway robbery against a team in need of a quarterback in this extremely weak class.

The fish at the end of the Buccaneers’ trade bait here is a Dolphin. After trading their previous quarterback and former first round pick Ryan Tannehill, the Miami Dolphins are in desperate need for a quarterback of the future even after adding former Buc Ryan Fitzpatrick on a two-year deal.

Tampa Bay is more than happy to oblige them, at a cost; that price is a first next year and the 13th, 78th, and 233rd picks in the 2019 NFL Draft in order to move into the top-five.

In this scenario, the Buccaneers now find themselves with nine picks, which is ideal considering they were not able to be big spenders in free agency as they are in a bind with the salary cap.

Looking to replace linebacker Kwon Alexander and wide receiver Adam Humphries in addition to filling the other holes in the roster, the Buccaneers look to unleash this added ammunition.
