Round 1, Pick 13 (via Miami Dolphins): Devin Bush, LB, Michigan

The margin between Devin White and Devin Bush is razor thin, so if the Bucs have the opportunity to move back in the draft, stockpile assets, and still grab Bush, then it would not be a letdown to miss out on drafting White with the fifth overall pick. It appears that the majority of Buccaneers fans agree:

Bush is a hot name right now after he tore up the combine, measuring in like a linebacker and performing on the field like a safety. His film shows nothing but a man playing with his hair on fire as well, not to mention he would bring a level of grit and toughness that is much needed in Tampa Bay.

The Junior linebacker finished his career as a Michigan Wolverine with 18.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, an interception, and 11 passes defended. With Alexander leaving the one Bay for the other by signing with the San Francisco 49ers, this type of versatile stat sheet stuffing will soften the blow of his loss.

While the linebacker class is a bit better than originally thought, the Buccaneers are in a position to take the best player available. It just so happens that the best player available here is a potential star in Bush.
