In addition to re-signing a few of their own players, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have also added six new players; here are grades for each new signee.

So far in the process of free agency, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added six new faces to their roster. Some figure to be immediate contributors and starters, while other figure as cheaper replacements to more expensive options, competition for a younger player, or a necessary depth piece.

In a bind with the salary cap, the Buccaneers have not been able to make any splash signings such as Le’Veon Bell and C.J. Mosley to the New York Jets, or Sheldon Richardson and Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns. With plenty of quality players left on the market, the Bucs only have about $2.8 million in cap space and will still be working on a limited budget.

However as it stands, the Buccaneers have made good work with the money that they have, signing the majority of the players to one year deals in order to give them another year to clear cap space and allow these players to prove they deserve an extension. In addition to the new players added, the Bucs also have re-signed a few of their own as well such as third string quarterback Ryan Griffin, running back Peyton Barber, and more.
