What should we expect from Winston in 2019?

Winston has been known to let it rip throughout the first four years of his career, and if anything, he is going to have more freedom to do so under Arians in 2019. With Leftwich calling plays, an Arians product, the offensive system will look extremely similar to that of the 60-year-old head coach, so a similar output can be expected.

Expect Winston to go well over 4,000 yards passing this upcoming season and do not be shocked to see him pushing 40 touchdown passes. Winston has averaged around a completion percentage of 62 percent throughout his career, so expect that to stay steady. He is going to throw interceptions, that is the consequences of having a gunslinger under center, and given the number Luck and Palmer threw in their first year under Arians, it could be around 20 this season.

Under Arians, the best should be gotten out of Winston, which is exactly what he needs in a vital season for the Buccaneers. If Winston can hit the 4,200 yard mark with around 33 touchdowns and limit his interceptions to 20, then Tampa Bay’s offense could be looking at much success in 2019 with Leftwich and Arians at the helm.
