Round 4, Pick 107: Mecole Hardman, WR, Georgia

Mecole Hardman is easily one of the most electric playmakers in this entire 2019 draft class at the wide receiver position and beyond. Hardman has the ability to take the top off of a defense, similar to the former Bucs eide recevier and now Philadelphia Eagle DeSean Jackson.

Hardman is not only effective as a deep speed threat but also excels from the slot. With the departure of Adam Humphries to the Tennessee Titans and Jackson gone as well, there is plenty of targets to go around and a role for Hardman to fill.

Hardman finished the 2018 season with 543 yards receiving on just 35 catches, averaging 16 yards per catch in his college career. Last season he scored seven touchdowns, giving him 11 in his career through the air; Hardman also returned on punt for a touchdown during the Bulldogs’ 2018 campaign, the only one of his career.

Even if Hardman fails to be the productive receiver many think he will he be, he can find a roster spot and role as a kick and punt returner. Head coach Bruce Arians will be drooling over the possibilities Hardman presents for an offense that loves to send the ball deep down the field.
