Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma

The Tampa Bay rushing attack was not very good last season as both Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones struggled to find holes on a consistent basis. Both are back again this season, but the Buccaneers may look to add another body to their running back room, especially one that can catch the ball out of the backfield.

Rodney Anderson may be the best back in this class and could be a steal of the draft for the Bucs. Anderson is guy that can run between the tackles and catch the ball out of the backfield, and he could be a nice chess piece for the already dangerous Buccaneers’ offense. If not for his health, Anderson may be the first running back off of the board, but after playing just two games in 2018, injury concerns have teams a bit scared off.

In 2017, Anderson rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns, while adding another 281 yard and five touchdowns catching passes out of the backfield from Baker Mayfield. If Tampa Bay is looking to add a versatile back in the mid-rounds of this year’s draft, Anderson could be a solid option for general manager Jason Licht to take a look at here in the fourth round.
