Greg Dortch, WR, Wake Forest

Another guy that this writer has had mocked to the Buccaneers in day-three before, Greg Dortch has only gotten better since and would give the Buccaneers a great weapon to add to their offense and special teams. Dortch had a great pro day, running a sub-7 second 3-cone drill and breaking the 4.5 second mark on his 40 yard dash.

At Wake Forest, Dortch was a tremendous slot receiver while also providing a spark in the return game, scoring two punt return touchdowns in addition to his eight receiving touchdowns in 2018. Dortch scored 17 total receiving touchdowns in his career with the Demon Deacons, and tallied 1,800 yards, including over 1,000 last season.

After losing Adam Humphries to the Tennessee Titans this offseason, the Bucs could replace him with Dortch who could be even more dynamic. While Arians seems set on deploying third-year wide receiver Chris Godwin in a variety of sets, adding Dortch would give the Buccaneers depth in case Godwin pans out as just an outside-the-numbers receiver or if he needs a breather. At just 5’9 and 175 pounds, Dortch is small but electric, and would give the Buccaneers yet another weapon on the offensive side of the ball that they could utilize in a variety of ways.
