Now that the AAF has folded, a large pool of players are now in need of a job. Could the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to sign any of them?

The Alliance of American Football has folded after failing to get through one season. A league that was supposed to mold into a developmental league and a second chance for many players who fell out of the NFL, the AAF did not live up to their moderately low expectations. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should look at these players looking for jobs to bring to camp and to give them a chance to get back into the NFL.

Believe it or not, there are a handful of players that played well in the AAF against lower competition, and even though the league only survived for two months, it may have served a purpose. For the small amount of players that could get a call from NFL team’s the AAF provided them an opportunity to show that they still have the skills necessary to play professional football.

With needs along their defense and a number of young players who excelled in the AAF now on the market, the Buccaneers should look at all avenues to add talent to their roster. Could the Buccaneers look to bring in a small number of AAF players that may have caught the attention of NFL teams?
