Round 2, Pick 39: Garrett Bradbury, OL, North Carolina State

Back by popular demand, an offensive lineman in the top half of the draft. Although this is extremely unlikely to happen, the Buccaneers take Garrett Bradbury out of North Carolina State. Tampa Bay just invested a third round pick in guard Alex Cappa just one year ago and look primed to give him the right guard job this season, so do not expect them to draft an offensive lineman this early.

However, if Bradbury manages to slip into the second round, then the Buccaneers must strongly consider it as he may be the best interior offensive lineman in the class. Bradbury played all over the interior of the offensive line in college, and while he played center this past season, he could easily be a plug-and-play prospect at right guard in Tampa Bay.

Bradbury measured in at nearly 6’3 and 306 pounds at the combine last month, and proceed to test in the upper echelon of offensive lineman. He ran a 4.92 40 yard dash, pressed 34 reps on the bench press, and hit 31 inches on his vertical jump. Bradbury also apparently interviewed very well with teams and now finds himself on the fringe of the first round.
