Oli Udoh, OT, Elon

It would appear the Buccaneers are looking for their heir apparent to right tackle Demar Dotson as they have already visited with Oklahoma tackle Cody Ford and Alabama State’s Tytus Howard (another small school prospect who does not appear on this list). If Tampa Bay wants to wait until later in the draft to address the offensive line, Elon’s Oli Udoh would be a solid option to pursue.

Udoh is a massive man, standing at 6’5 and 323 pounds. In addition, he displayed great speed at the combine, running a 5.05 40 yard dash. The Elon offensive tackle is extremely raw, but given a year or two to sit back and learn, he has the physical traits desired to mold into an elite anchor on the offensive line.

Given that the Buccaneers just locked up left tackle Donovan Smith for three more years and have Ali Marpet and Ryan Jensen under contract long-term as well, the left side of the Tampa Bay offensive line is locked up. However, the right side of the line remains murky as Caleb Benenoch has been removed from the right guard role and Dotson is on the last year of his deal; adding Udoh and allowing him to learn behind Dotson for a year could give the Buccaneers their future right tackle.
