Iman Marshall, David Long visit with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
By Cory Kinnan
As the draft is next week and pre-draft visits are finishing up, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers bring in a couple of mid-round cornerbacks on a visit.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are wrapping up pre-draft visits and workouts as the 2019 NFL Draft is eight days away. Looking to invest heavily on the defensive side of the football, two defensive backs that are slated as late day-two or early day-three targets have told the media they have visited with the Buccaneers.
Iman Marshall from the University of Southern California and David Long from the University of Michigan are apparently on the draft board of Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht and his team as they potentially tip their hand at their approach with the draft.
Looking to invest heavily on the defensive side of the ball, the Buccaneers have met with plenty of top-tier defensive talent as well as mid-level talent, so it will not be a shock to see them invest their top four picks on the defensive side of the football. The offensive line does not seem to be a priority as Tampa Bay looks more concerned with finding the heir apparent to Demar Dotson than finding a right guard after selecting Alex Cappa in the third round one year ago.
As the Buccaneers continue to evaluate defensive talent ahead of the draft, we get to know the two newest additions to the list. Here is a deeper look at both Marshall and Long as they remain on the on draft board in Tampa Bay.
