1. Defensive Tackle:

Talk about a complete overhaul. The Buccaneers are blowing up their depth chart at the interior of their defensive line. Already cutting Mitch Unrein, ten-year vet and former first round pick Gerald McCoy looks to be the next big man in the trenches out the door.

While the Buccaneers only need to field three interior defensive lineman in their new defensive scheme and have two solidified in Pierre-Paul and Vita Vea at the nose tackle spot, they have virtually no quality depth behind them besides Beau Allen. William Gholston will be lucky to make it through, or maybe even to camp, and Rakeem Nunez-Roches can certainly be upgraded upon.

If White is not the pick, it is certainly going to be invested in the front seven of the defense. Even after taking Vea one year ago in the first round, the defensive tackle prospect selected this year would be expected to man the other interior defensive end spot, a role Vea cannot fill. Visiting with virtually all of the top defensive tackle products in this draft class, it feels like a forgone conclusion another defensive tackle will be added early in this draft.

Next. Buccaneers: 7-round mock draft with two days to go. dark

The obvious steal of the draft would be if Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams manages to slip to the fifth spot. However, Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver is well worth more than just a look with the fifth overall pick in the draft as well.
