The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally enter a season with no drama at the quarterback position in 2019; what does the position group look like?

As the offseason continues, each position group of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be broken down and examined. Today, we start with a position which has been hotly contested over the past few years: quarterback.

While turnovers are a serious problem in Tampa Bay and have been over the past three seasons, the Buccaneers’ offense has had no trouble putting points on the board. However, former offensive coordinator Todd Monken is now with Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns and Byron Leftwich is now taking over.

For once, there is no competition and no pressure on the Buccaneers at the position as Ryan Fitzpatrick and his magical beard are now in Miami with the Dolphins. However, what is happening behind Jameis Winston is more intriguing than the starting the top of the depth chart.

With Bruce Arians and Leftwich in charge of the offense, expect massive points to be put on the board again in 2019. Any hopes of production the Buccaneers may have will fall onto the quarterback position. Here is a breakdown of the depth under center in Tampa Bay as the offseason rolls along.
