Jameis is an analytical darling

Quite possibly the biggest takeaway from PFF’s substitution for King was found in a column titled, “10 Things I Think I Think” by Steve Palazzolo. The sixth point Palazzolo made was that he thinks Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston will contend for the passing title this season.

"“We think Jameis Winston will challenge for the passing yardage title in 2019… New Bucs head coach Bruce Arians has a track record of succeeding with high-varience quarterbacks like Winston… look for Winston to either make good on his 2015 draft position or give the Bucs no other option but to find his replacement the following year” (Steve Palazzolo of PFF via PFT)."

This would come as a massive relief for the Buccaneers who need Winston to take the next step in the last year of his contract. Should Winston post these numbers, the Buccaneers could take a giant leap with their starting quarterback and possibly contend for a playoff spot.
