Tampa Bay Buccaneers land Stanford lineman in 2020 mock draft
By Cory Kinnan
As the college football season is just around the corner, so is the early draft talk. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers land an offensive lineman in a new mock.
In an effort to continue to identify players to keep an eye on this college football season, we will locate as many 2020 mock drafts as possible and who the Tampa Bay Buccaneers land. In one by Draft Wire’s (and Buccaneer fan) Luke Easterling, Tampa Bay prepares for the departure and/or retirement of Demar Dotson by selecting Stanford tackle Walker Little with the tenth overall pick in the draft.
Little is listed at a massive 6’7 and 313 pounds and is entering his junior season at Stanford. He is coming off of a year where he was named to the first team All-PAC-12. Looking to only build off of that success, Little could become a top tackle of this class.
"“Little is an adequate run blocker at this point in his development but he needs to get stronger and play with more consistent hand placement so he can sustain his blocks a tick longer… if he has the kind of improvement in 2019 that a player with his pedigree should have, he could end up in the first-round conversation” (Bryan Perez via With the First Pick)."
After the extension given to Donovan Smith this offseason, the Buccaneers would be looking for a right tackle if they drafted one early on in the draft. Little is massive and would provide a towering replacement for Dotson who is nearing the end of his career.
