The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled in back-to-back 5-11 seasons, but under a new coaching staff, which players will thrive the most in 2019?

It is way too early to predict what will happen in the 2019 season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but what is the fun in not trying? The Buccaneers have a ton of new faces, and old faces who should thrive under the new coaching staff.

The last Buccaneer to win an award was Jameis Winston, who won Pepsi Rookie of the Year back in 2015, but this year the team has a couple of defensive rookies who could be in the running for the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award this year. However, over the past two seasons, Tampa Bay has not had the most efficient coaching staff for their talents with Dirk Koetter and Mike Smith; expect more fireworks in 2019.

There is a ton of talent and potential on the Buccaneers roster, starting with quarterback and running all the way down to the safety position. This season may just be the year that these young guns unlock that potential and thrive with Bruce Arians at the helm.

The awards covered here will be most valuable players, offensive and defensive player of the year, offensive and defensive rookie of the year, most improved player, comeback player of the year, and newcomer with the biggest impact. Who will surprise and who will be expected to win the team awards for Tampa Bay?
