As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to have question marks across their team, one bright spot that will remain constant is wide receiver Mike Evans.

“The most underrated player in the NFL” is a conversation that is almost always a hotly contested topic amongst football fans and analysts. Mike Evans is one of the players who deserves this title. While not as flashy as the likes of Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown, Mike Evans has had a very successful career and his play is good enough to be included in the group at the top of the league.

Mike Evans came into the league in 2014 alongside Beckham Jr. and there are many ways to compare and contrast these receivers. During this time Beckham has three Pro Bowl selections and Evans has two. Evans and Beckham have both been the centerpieces of their offenses, both have averaged over 1,000 yard receiving seasons when healthy, and have had questionable play from their quarterbacks.

Despite the fact that he has not been in the limelight as much as players like Beckham and Antonio Brown, Mike Evans has started in every game that he has played but one. In five years Evans has only not started in four games and has not had a year with less that 1,000 receiving yards.
