The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not the only sports team that the Glazers own; who would have thought they’d be feeling more heat outside of the Florida sun?

It turns out that fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not the only ones upset about the ownership of their team, as Manchester United fans overseas are now also calling for the heads of the Glazers. Yes, the owner of the Buccaneers is also the owner of Manchester United Football Club, fans of the team are less than happy with the Glazer family after the recent demise of the once prominent soccer club in all of England.

The Glazer family has owned Manchester United since 2005, and since the Club has not been as competitive as expected given the revenue that the team generates and additions of international stars such as Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It appears the fans have had enough as #GlazersOut is the top social media trend in England right now.

"“They want the Glazers out NOW and have organized a green-and-gold social media campaign to pressure them to sell the club. Over the past couple of weeks, #GlazersOut has become a regular trend on Twitter” (Thomas Bassinger via Tampa Bay Times)."

Manchester United has not won the Premier League since 2012-13; honestly Buccaneers fans would love to have won a title as recent as six years ago at this point. In a parallel quest for stadium upgrades in the United States and the United Kingdom, Old Trafford has been filmed with a massive leak in the roof; The Glazers have, to this point, been unwilling to spend the necessary money to renovate Raymond James Stadium as well.

"“You have to question whether the owners, the Glazer family, are they looking at the asset and thinking, ‘You know we’re going to have to start spending money, and is it worth it?’”(Mark Ogden via ESPN)."

An unwillingness to spend money in Tampa Bay has been a huge complaint by fans of the Buccaneers, and now those complaints are heard from the other team the Glazers own as well. Winning can cover a ton of sins, but unfortunately neither the Bucs nor Manchester United have experienced a ton of that either, perpetuating the pressure on ownership.

As the losing seasons continue, the target on ownership’s back looms larger. The Glazers are feeling the heat overseas, but how long until they feel more heat in Tampa Bay other than just the Florida sun?
