DT Ndamukong Suh

Maybe because it is the freshest and because of the shockwaves it sent through the Buccaneers’ fanbase, the signing of Ndamukong Suh makes the list. Suh signed a one-year deal worth up to $10 million to play for defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and the Bucs in 2019.

The fanbase was already up in flames over veteran and mainstay Gerald McCoy; once he was released and Suh was signed, the volcano erupted. It is yet to be seen how Suh performs on the field for the Buccaneers, but it is highly unlikely he will remain with the team in 2020 as he will be off chasing his next contract.

Suh is also a polarizing player as he was the former second overall pick back in 2010, one spot ahead of McCoy and has built up a reputation around the league during his decade-long career. In fact, he is now teammates with one of the victims of an on-field stomp while he was a Detroit Lion in Evan Smith.

After a year where Suh did not turn on the jets until the playoffs, it will be interesting to see how he plays in Tampa Bay. Regardless, the expectations set upon him are already high.
