Terry Beckner Jr.
The last drafted player of the Buccaneers, defensive tackle Terry Beckner Jr., comes in at a rating of 60 overall. His speed is set at a 66 overall and his strength is at an 85; he is also listed with a tackle rating of 72, hit power of 83, and a block shedding ability of 72.
Beckner, in my defensive scheme, would fit only as a nose tackle; to be honest, he would probably not make my team. His statline in Madden this year really has no appealing ratings, except as another body in goalline formation.
Undrafted free agents
Buffalo wide receiver Anthony Johnson comes in as the highest rated undrafted free agent on the Buccaneers with a rating of 65, other undrafted free agent receiver DaMarkus Lodge is listed at a 62 overall. Xavier Ubosi does not have a rating listed, neither does safety D’Cota Dixon.
Undrafted safety Lukas Denis from Boston College does have a rating however, and is listed at a 59 overall. The rest of the undrafted rookies listed are on the offensive side of the ball in running back Bruce Anderson, guard Zack Bailey, and quarterback Nick Fitzgerald.
Anderson comes in at a 61 overall, Bailey at a 56 overall, and Fitzgerald at a 54. Fitzgerald would be interesting to tinker with though. Where would his rating fall if his position is changed to running back or tight end? These are the kind of wrinkles that make it fun to control a team in Madden.
