Stanford offensive tackle could be a top-ten pick when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around; he lands with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 2020 mock draft.

The offseason rolls along, and as the 2019 football season is right around the corner, college players are already prepping for the largest job interviews of their life. NFL Draft coverage never stops as databases, big boards, and mock drafts are well underway. In a recent mock draft by Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers land Stanford offensive tackle Walker Little.

This is not the first mock draft to have the Buccaneers landing Little, and these mock drafts must have a high regard for Jameis Winston by assuming they will not need to use their first rounder on a quarterback. It is considered a highly talented offensive line class, and with the Buccaneers taking Little tenth overall (order set by Vegas Super Bowl odds), he was already the second tackle off the board.

The junior offensive tackle was a former five-star recruit who landed with Stanford, and has a full season as a starting offensive lineman in the PAC-12 under his belt. Another solid season, and the massive 6-7, and 313 pound tackle could be bound for a top-ten selection as he is here.

If the Buccaneers do go offensive tackle with their first round selection next year, it will be to fill the void that is soon-to-be left as right tackle Demar Dotson. He nearing the end of his time in Tampa Bay and in the league in general after a decade-long career to this point.

Should Little, or any other tackle for that matter, land in Tampa Bay, it will be interesting to see if the Buccaneers would opt to slide current left tackle Donovan Smith to the opposite side or place the rookie there. Little is a name to watch this season, as he could potentially be wearing the pewter and red in 2019.
