He is in elite company

Evans joins Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss as the only other player in NFL history to start their career with five straight 1,000 yard receiving seasons. Moss went six straight season hitting the 1,000 yard mark, but if Evans stays healthy, there is no reason to believe, he could not break that mark in two years from now.

If Evans could post over 1,500 yards with Fitzpatrick and Winston throwing him the football last season, then he can post numbers with just about anyone throwing him the rock. Evans has totaled just over 6,100 yards and 40 touchdowns on 395 yards to this point in his career.

Moss, at this point in his career, had just over 6,800 yards and 60 touchdowns, leading the league in touchdowns twice in the first five years of his career. Moss went on to wear the crown for most receiving touchdowns in a season three more times.

While Evans is not quite as productive as Moss was at this point in his career, it is honorable to be in the same conversation with a Hall of Famer after the first five years of his career; not to mention the only other receiver to be in the same conversation. Eight to ten more years and we may be talking about Evans as a surefire Hall of Famer the same way we were Moss when he hung up his cleats in 2012.
