Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3 standouts from training camp day four
By Cory Kinnan
Already looking plenty improved from a year ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now four days through training camp; here are standouts thus far.
We are now four days into training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and while there have been some rough spots for them, the team has shown immense improvement. The bulk of that improvement shown can be found on the defensive side of the ball as new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles has his guys playing with their hair on fire.
After overhauling the secondary this offseason, it appears that it has worked as the defense has come away with interception after interception. The edge rushers have come to life as well as Noah Spence finally seems like he is ready to break out, while new guy Shaquil Barrett also looks like a steal for the $4 million he is owed this season.
Then in the middle are the dependable Lavonte David and the future star in Devin White; this group should merit the least amount of concern. It will be a great joy to watch this team further improve.
While the team as a whole is looking greatly improved from a year ago and back-to-back 5-11 seasons, here are three players who stood out the most on day four of training camp for the Buccaneers.
