As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare to face the Miami Dolphins tomorrow night, here are three players to keep an eye on as the summer progresses.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been holding a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins this week as the two are set to square off tomorrow night. This is the second preseason game for the Buccaneers after falling short against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
The preseason remains a time for the rookies on the roster to adjust to NFL game speed and for bottom of the roster guys to make a name for themselves. Guys like Mazzi Wilkins and Spencer Schnell stood out a week ago, and backup tight end Tanner Hudson also put on a show.
While these games can be rather boring to watch on television due to the lack of participation from the starters, these games hold significant implications for those players fighting to make the final 53-man roster. After the first drive of the game, the field is then dominated by the relatively unheard of players.
It will be doubtful to see the starters play for a long time, so Ndamukong Suh, Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, and others will probably only play one series if at all. The first preseason game had many standouts other than just Wilkins and Schnell, and now moving into week two of the preseason, who are some names to keep an eye on?
