Fourth Quarter

Blaine Gabbert remains on the field for the Buccaneers as the rain begins to fall in Tampa. Ronald Jones is Gabbert’s go-to guy in the first series for the Bucs, taking the ball 37 yards down the field in 7 plays. Gabbert then throws a quick slant from the Miami 11 yard line to backup wide receiver Anthony Johnson for another Tampa Bay touchdown.

The unstoppable Matt Gay adds another extra point. With the weather deteriorating in Tampa and the field getting slippery, the remainder of the quarter is split between the two teams. Tampa Bay utilizing their running back Ronald Jones to chip away at yardage.

Miami are still looking to get something out of the game, with Josh Rosen trying to utilize former Jaguars’ wide receiver Allen Hurns to move the ball. A combination of the conditions and the strong Bucs defense caused two sacks and several incompletions in the quarter, leaving Rosen wishing he had stayed in Arizona.
