Two weeks down, two to go before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the San Francisco 49ers, and these players need to show signs of improvement before then.

With the preseason halfway over, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently sit at 1-1 as the Cleveland Browns are set to come to Raymond James Stadium Friday night. Thus far, the Buccaneers have had some players wow them with their performances against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, they have had some players who have disappointed this preseason as well. While we have identified players who have stood out through the first two preseason games, today we identify three players whose stock may be heading in the wrong direction.

Some young, some old, the Buccaneers need to see improvements out of a few players who are locks to make the team, and one veteran who is fighting for a roster spot. With two preseason games left, there is still plenty of time to turn their fortunes around.

Here are three players who are trending in the wrong direction for the Buccaneers as the preseason has reached its midway point. Spoilers, two of the players on this list are slated to be key contributors for the Buccaneers this year, putting them in a tough situation on Sundays when they inevitably take the field in the pewter and red.
