The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had three players step up in positions of need Friday night against the Cleveland Browns as the regular season approaches.

Three weeks of the preseason down and one to go before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers open their regular season schedule against the San Francisco 49ers. The Buccaneers took down the Cleveland Browns in a game that was relatively boring game with the final score of 13-12 as kicker Matt Gay hit another game winning field goal with 15 seconds left in the game.

As the regular season is vastly approaching, the Buccaneers have some players looking to make the final 53-man roster while others are trying to earn a starting role in Tampa Bay. This next matchup with the Detroit Lions will be the last opportunity for many to make a name for themselves and to earn a spot either in Tampa Bay or with another team around the league.

As for players who are making a name for themselves, the Buccaneers had a handful of players who played well against the Browns. While they are not household names such as Mike Evans or Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers have some players who are putting in the work to make an impact on the field.

Here are three players who stood out and are in position to earn a role with the Buccaneers as the regular season vastly approaches.
