OL Zach Bailey

The Buccaneers lack depth in both the offensive and defensive trenches, and there are numerous offensive lineman battling out for the last spot in that room on the final 53-man roster. The most intriguing among them is Zach Bailey, undrafted rookie out of South Carolina.

He looks to go head-to-head with veteran Josh LeRibeus for the bottom of the roster along the interior of the Buccaneers offensive line, and looks to be in good position to beat him out. Given the lack of experience at right guard with Alex Cappa, the Buccaneers also have Earl Watford on the roster, who looks to be a lock due to his flexibility along the front.

Bailey, LeRibeus, and last year’s starting right guard Caleb Benenoch are viewed to be along the bottom of the roster in Tampa Bay. Given that Benenoch is a tackle, he too looks to have an advantage to make the roster.

At 6-5 and 300 pounds, Bailey provides the Buccaneers a long presence in the interior of their line. Can Bailey prove to the Buccaneers that he is worth taking a chance on tonight or will the veteran LeRibeus beat him out for the last roster spot along the offensive line?
