Now that the preseason is over, the Buccaneers are now tasked with cutting their roster down to 53 players as some tough decisions are ahead.

The preseason is finally over real football is so close you can smell the hotdogs grilling and the popcorn popping. As the regular season rolls around, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a massive amount of cuts to make to get their roster down to 53 players, and just at the wire, here is a prediction of that final roster.

Some positions are pretty straight forward as far as the players who will make the roster, such as the quarterback and middle linebacker positions. Other positions like the defensive line and wide receiver are up for grabs as head coach Bruce Arians and general manager Jason Licht have some tough decisions ahead of them.

The roster cuts may see some draft picks from as early as this past April miss the cut, and some players from the Dirk Koetter regime may be shown the door as well. The Buccaneers brought in veterans for training camp as well, but on such a young and developing roster it will be hard to devote a roster spot to most of them.

The Buccaneers will enter into a long grind and an uphill battle in this 2019 season. Here is a prediction at the roster they will field when they travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers next Sunday.
