Wide Receivers
Mike Evans
I mean, come on. Mike Evans is one of just two players in NFL history to start their career with five 1,000 yard seasons (Randy Moss is the other). This is a no brainer.
Chris Godwin
Another no brainer, Chris Godwin looks to take another leap after a significant jump in his sophomore season a year ago. Arians has big plans for Godwin, and expect him to see a ton of targets from Winston as a security blanket with the departure of Adam Humphries.
Breshad Perriman
The newbie from the Cleveland Browns a year ago, Breshad Perriman looks to fill the void left by DeSean Jackson as the Buccaneers’ deep threat. After a strong camp to add to his bounce back year in 2018, Perriman is a lock to make the team as the Buccaneers’ third receiver.
Justin Watson
While there was some uncertainty around last year’s fifth rounder Justin Watson after a regime change, he proved his worth this summer and during the preseason and looks to have solidified the Buccaneers’ fourth receiver job. At 6-3, Watson gives the Buccaneers some added size and a reprieve for Godwin and Evans if they need a breather.
Bobo Wilson
Also in question with a regime change, Bobo Wilson has displayed his versatility and ability to contribute on special teams as well, winning him the last roster spot at the wide receiver position. Wilson benefited greatly from the hamstring injury that sidelined rookie Scotty Miller.
Scotty Miller
In this prediction, the Buccaneers roster six receivers, paving the way for Scotty Miller to make the team. If the Buccaneers only roster five, then Miller could be the odd man out as he missed significant reps while he was sidelined for two weeks with a hamstring injury.
