2.40: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn

The Buccaneers must add an offensive tackle and that is a non-negotiable moving forward. Prince Tega Wanogho is a highly skilled tackle for the University of Auburn, while a bit raw, has an incredibly high ceiling at the next level. With the 40th overall pick in the draft, he becomes a Buccaneer as Arians and general manager and Jason Licht finally lose their stubbornness to address the offensive line.

Right tackle Demar Dotson is entering his last year as a Buccaneer as it is unlikely that he re-signs in Tampa Bay as his contract expires after the 2019 season. Left tackle Donovan Smith, even though he just signed a three year extension worth $13 million annually, is not a reliable option to protect Winston or whoever will be playing quarterback for the Buccaneers in 2020.

Tega Wanogho started his collegiate career as a defensive end, but switched to the offensive side of the ball, displaying his athletic ability. Listed at 6-7 and 305 pounds, Tega Wanogho is a massive man with the length to stall elite edge rushers from reaching his quarterback.

This is a player the Buccaneers desperately need, no matter if they choose to stick with Winston or add a different quarterback early in the draft. Giving the massive Tega Wanogho the coaching he needs with Arians, he has the most potential of any offensive tackle in the draft, even if he is a bit raw at this point in his career.
