Do not forget to set your lineups before Thursday’s game! Here is some fantasy football advise for players on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster.

The 100th NFL season is finally here and what better way to kick off the season than with one of the oldest rivalries in league history. The Green Bay Packers are traveling to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears in what should be an epic battle to start the season. You will have to wait until Sunday to see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the matchup is one Bucs’ fans should be excited about.

The Buccaneers are getting ready to host Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers. This will be the first real game Jimmy G has played in since tearing his ACL last season. The Bucs have won two straight games against the 49ers dating back to 2016 and won both matchups in a rather convincing fashion.

Last season the Buccaneers played the 49ers and put up one of the better team performances of the season in the process. In last seasons’ 27-9 victory, the Bucs had zero turnovers, completed over 75% of attempted passes, tossed the pigskin for over 300 yards and ran the ball for an additional 100 plus yards.

While both teams have made a number of changes from last season the bulk of the 49ers core remains the same. The line for the game opened with the Bucs as a two point favorites, but has since dropped to one point. Most home teams get at least a three point advantage in the spread but Vegas clearly sees this as an even matchup.
