Grimm’s Lineup Advice

Feel confident starting Winston as he battles Garoppolo, Evans and Godwin in any money leagues, as well as DraftKings lineups. The line for this game is currently projected at 50 points total, so there will be opportunities for fantasy points to go around. Outside of these three, take precautions with the rest of the Buccaneers’ roster.

Howard would be a risky start, but his upside is high, so he may be worth the risk against the 49ers subpar safeties. He may be matched up against former Buccaneer Kwon Alexander, who, as fans of the Buccaneers know, struggles in pass coverage; this would give Howard a tremendous advantage.

Avoid starting anyone in the Tampa Bay backfield if you can and it would be recommended to stay away from the Buccaneers’ defense/special teams as well, although Garoppolo may throw an Interception or two if he gets rattled early.

Winning this game for the Bucs is crucial since it is game one in the Bruce Arians era, and the 49ers are a team the Bucs should and could beat, especially at home. Let’s hope the Buccaneers offense can be as high powered as it is expected to be and the team can start the 2019 season in a major way with a convincing home win.
