After a week two victory over the Carolina Panthers, here is who stood out, and who laid an egg on Thursday Night Football for the Buccaneers.

Thursday Night Football, primetime, national audience, and hoping to avoid an 0-2 start to their 2019 season. The game started out sloppy and the offense looked about as bad as they did last week early in this one. This game is behind them, and now they are on to host the New York Giants on a week from Sunday.

The Buccaneers came out strong to end the half and came out and scored in the third quarter as well; they would go on to win 20-14 over the Carolina Panthers as the defense made a stand at the goalline. Still needing to clean some things up, the Bucs committed too many penalties, but as the year goes along they should reduce.

This performance will get an A- overall as the running game has looked better despite Ronald Jones’ stepback performance. The defense continues to dominate the headlines as they kept the Buccaneers in the game despite early struggles offensively. Here are the skulls and planks for week two after Bruce Arians gets his first win as the head coach in Tampa Bay.
