More RPOs, rollouts, and quick hits

Given that Daniel Jones is more mobile and agile than the old man Manning, expect the Giants to utilize his feet by running more run-pass options and rollouts to get the defensive front on the move and confused. This again contributes to the thought that the Buccaneers will opt to keep a third safety on the field in big nickel formations to keep Jones and the increase of speed under raps.

Good news for the Buccaneers when it comes to read-option plays is that Carl Nassib has been one of the best at reading keys and reacting accordingly. They will need both Nassib and NFC Defensive Player of the Week Shaquil Barrett to keep contain and set the edge in this one to force all of the action inside to Vita Vea, Ndamukong Suh, and the rest of the big boys in the trenches.

Lavonte David has historically been one of the better linebackers in coverage as well, so the quick looks down the seam to Engram or others should be contested fairly well. Rookie Devin White has had his eyes caught in the backfield a bit through his first game and a quarter before leaving with an injury. If he is healthy enough to play on Sunday, they will need him to be a bit more disciplined to his keys so he does not leave a lane for the Giants to exploit.
