Five minutes left? Plenty of time for fireworks

On the second play of the ensuing drive for the Giants, Manning was able to connect with tight end Evan Engram on a 54 yard dart, which took the G-Men down to the Bucs’ 11 yard line. On a third and one from the Buccaneers’ two yard line, Barkley would find the endzone for the third time this game, giving the Giants a 38-28 lead with just under four minutes to go in the game.

In this back and forth second half, Winston and the Buccaneers refused to go out quietly as they put together a quick paced scoring drive, driving 66 yards in just a minute and a half. Winston found Evans for his second score of the game on a 41 yard bomb to cut the lead back down to three.

With no timeouts, however, it was not looking good for the Buccaneers as the Giants ran the ball three times and punted the ball away. With 31 seconds left, the Winston led the pewter and red offense out from their own 20 yard line with no way to stop the clock.

On the first play of the drive, Winston launched one deep as he was looking for Jackson. The pass would be picked off by B.W. Webb as the Giants would go on to kneel out the clock; the Buccaneers fall to the Giants 38-35 despite a heroic second half effort from Winston and the offense.
