2.40: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn

Prince Tega Wanogho makes his second appearance (and probably not his last) in these mock drafts. A massive physical specimen at the tackle position, Wanogho is an athletic freak with a bit rawness to his game. Listed at 6-7 and 305 pounds, Wanogho has an elite first step out of his stance to stall any attempt at a pass rush off of the edge.

He does struggle a bit in the run game, but as the Philadelphia Eagles taught us last April when they drafted Andre Dillard in the first round, massive and athletic tackles who thrive in pass protection are worth the early investment in the draft. Wanogho fits the Dillard mold, and will turn heads once the combine rolls around in March, and has plenty of collegiate experience in the SEC to put on his resume.

Last year, Wanogho was named to Pro Football Focus’ first team All-SEC for his performance along the Auburn offensive line. The fifth year senior has also been named as an All-Academic throughout his collegiate career as well, displaying the smarts to adjust to the NFL level.

While the Buccaneers are likely to stick with Donovan Smith through at least the 2020 season, until his guarantees run dry, Dotson is almost a lock not to return to Tampa after this season. Wanogho would fill a massive need for the Bucs, a need they must address early in the 2020 NFL Draft.
